Directors and Producers are encourage to Submit all type of Films related to our Festival promotion of Native, Aboriginal and Indigenous Cultures.
The Realization of these Films with the best input of Art and Talent in their Creation will be taking into account also.

The Quetzalcoalt Indigenous International Film Festival encourage Fiction Films, Documentary Films, Anthropology Films, Research Films, Human Rights with focus on Native, Aboriginal and Indigenous Exploration, Sustainability, Pride and Conservation of Heritage works of Cinema.

The Quetzalcoatl Indigenous International Film Festival is an independent and private organization, uninfluenced, unbiased, and non affiliated with a political or religious entity.

The mission of the Festival is to promote, propagate and explore the understanding of all forms of expression relevant to the cinema with the main priority of Indigenous and Native World Culture that Describes, promotes and documents it .Arts and sound image in motion (experimental audiovisual, short film, feature film, documentaries, public meetings, educational meetings) throughout the year and on the event dates.

Human
The aim of the Quetzalcoatl Indigenous International Film Festival is to organize the Festival each year.
This while promoting the arts, the Festival brings human communion between different cultures and societies for the growth and improvement of the human condition.

The documentary film Natives (Eu Nativo) shows aspects of the indigenous lives of the Kayapó, Potiguara, Tabajara, Fulni-ô and Pankararu tribes, located in the north and northeast of Brazil. The film, released in January 2022, features stunning images of the natural beauty that surrounds the villages where the ethnic groups live, and surprising testimonials about how natives suffer from racial prejudice and discrimination by non-indigenous society. It is a sensitive reflection on native individuals, who rarely have the opportunity to talk about their emotions and sadness

It is the year 2060 in an Indigenous community in Oaxaca called Jaltepec, Erick plays in his room when he accidentally discovers a chest that belongs to his grandmother, he takes them to know more about those strange objects and she begins to awaken the memories of her childhood when the pollution of the river was not present in her community. The OvaHimba of the Namib Desert are descendants of the Ancient Egyptians from the era of Queen Nefertiti, and was once the richest nomadic tribe in Africa. Now, however, they find themselves on the brink of extinction. Trapped in the 1904 Herero-Nama war, they settled in the godforsaken wastes of Kaokoland after fleeing genocide at the hands of the German army and marauding Nama gangs. Having grown weary of the name 'OvaHimba', which means 'beggars', reigning Chief Nguzu believes their only hope for survival lies in the hands of his grandson, Omusuverua [the protagonist].
